The calisson in its present form appeared in the 15th century during the reign of King René, and became emblematic of the city of Aix-en-Provence in the south of France.
Made with whole blanched almonds and slices of melon candied in the traditional way, all grown in Provence, our mini-calissons are flavoured with raspberry.
